Chronicles of Tellus
When he was a human, Ghandhar was said to have had an even-tempered and logical mindset. He was somewhat of an outcast, wandering from town to town seeking the occasional sellsword opportunity. Somewhere along the line he met a roaming paladin named Sir Fenighrad and the cleric of St. Cuthbert named Kolvar. Together the three sought adventure and fortune. One such adventure had them cross a powerful wizard who transformed Ghandhar into a half-orc. For a time he remained the same, but eventually his mind could not withstand the magical energy. His mind decayed until he truly believed he was a half-orc. He became more wild and aggressive, often charging headfirst into combat regardless of any tactical disadvantages. Although often uncontrollable he always remained loyal to his friends.
Fate would have Ghandhar and his friends join forces with the other Saviours of Alduria and defeat the Dread Mage of Alduria, thus ending the Race Wars. After his acquittal from genocide charges by the court of Solarion, Ghandhar elected to continue adventuring rather than settle as the rest of his companions did; his orc blood was too restless to stay in civilization for long. He met his demise in the belly of an Elder Blue Dragon in 4696 SR. Common myth has it that he can never die and instead controls the dragon from inside its guts. This lead to the phrase, “It was Ghandhar made me do it!” used when a person acts out of character, often in a rowdy, bestial manner.
