A Nazcaan folk hero, Loran is said to have slain entire hordes of Shanxii singlehandedly. His virtues are as epic as his deeds; he is often said to have been the living embodiment of the Seven Knightly Virtues: courage, justice, mercy, generosity, faith, nobility, and hope. Many Nazcaans believe that he ascended to godhood after his death, but as of yet this has not been proven. Whether or not this is true remains unknown, but a growing number of religious followers have shown the ability to create divine magical effects and claim that Sharkhin is the source. It may be that their devout faith in a belief is the source of their power, but it may also be that Loran Sharkhin truly ascended. This will be depated by many religious scholars until he reveals himself properly as a deity.

Shadren Sevastyan, one of Toxanimir’s Dozen is rumored to have descended from Loran Sharkhin.

Clergy and Temples

Temples of Loran Sharkhin are few and far between. Those that exist are exclusively located in Nazca. His followers are commonly knights, paladins, and warriors that are fighting in the Thousand Year War and need his guidance to keep them on the path of righteousness. Being a newer deity, most religious orders deny his existence.

Loran Sharkhin preaches strict adherence to the Seven Knightly Virtues. These are, specifically, the virtues of courage, justice, mercy, generosity, faith, nobility, and hope. They are best summarized in the following pamphlet, which his followers frequently hand out to strangers.
